Here’s what the top 8 girls will be singing on Idols

Cape Town - Sunday it will be the Top 8 Girls’ turn to wow the live audience at the State Theatre in Pretoria and the millions of fans watching the show at home on M-Net and Mzansi Magic.
 
The stakes are high and the girls have a tough act to follow!

This year the contestants each receive R10 000 cash just for making it through to the Top 10.
 
Here’s what the girls will be singing: (in performance order)
 
Mmatema Moreni (23) from Limpopo, singing the Ella Henderson hit, Ghost.
 
The youngest girl in the competition, 17-year-old Nina Terblanche from Nelspruit, with Blackbyrd’s Better In The Morning.
 
Last-minute replacement Amanda Antony (22) from Port Elizabeth, who will be singing Beyoncé’s sexy anthem, Drunk In Love.
 
Elwira Standili (22) from Worcester, with the Taylor Swift hit Style.
 
18-year-old Bridgitt Leahy from Creighton in the Southern Drakensberg, singing Meghan Trainor’s Lips Are Moving.
 
Paarl beauty queen Nadia Herbst (20), performing Love Me Like You Do, by Ellie Golding.

Vryburg singer Dineo Moseki (21) with Sia’s Chandelier.
 
And 25-year-old Shenay O’Brien from Johannesburg, closing the show with Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s mashup of Bang Bang.

Voting for the Top 16 girls will open at the start of Sunday’s live show and will close Tuesday night, 8 September, at 22:00.
