Beijing - China has announced that President Xi Jinping will give a speech at the opening ceremony of a key climate change conference in Paris later this month, before making state visits to South Africa and Zimbabwe.
Vice Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin said on Wednesday that Xi also will meet separately with French President Francois Hollande and US President Barack Obama on November 30 in Paris to discuss climate change and bilateral relations.
From December 1-2, Xi will visit Zimbabwe for the first time and meet with President Robert Mugabe.
From December 2-5, Xi will pay his second state visit to South Africa and meet with President Jacob Zuma, as well as deliver a keynote speech at the Forum on China-Africa Co-operation.
