Would you eat your own placenta?

You may think that celebrities have natural energy and vigour when returning to work after having a baby. January Jones, however, has her own way of getting back on the proverbial horse.

According to E!online, January has a doula that's making sure she eats right, takes vitamins, drinks tea and pops a placenta capsule when she's feeling lethargic.

That's disgusting, right? Or is it? The internet is filled with people who eat the placenta raw, cook it up in a placenta lasagne or even dry it out and turn it into a powder.

January Jones was not necessarily on board right off the bat. "It's something I was very hesitant about, but we're the only mammals who don't ingest our own placentas." Personally, I'd say there's a good reason for that. But maybe that's just me.

The now pro-placenta mom added, "It's not witch-crafty or anything! I suggest it to all moms!" Or you could just make a placenta teddy out of it...
