We are going for the kill - Da Gama

Cape Town - The National Under-23 team is safe and sound in the city of Yasmin Hammamet just outside the capital city of Tunis, Tunisia.

Amaglug-glug are in Tunis to play two friendly matches against Tunisia as part of their preparations for the all-important 8 Nations Tournament to be staged in Senegal from 18 November – 18 December 2015.

Owen da Gama's side will play two friendly matches in Tunis on 4 and 7 September 2015 at 17:00 respectively at the Stade Olympique d’El Menzah.

"We will have a late training session today as our trip was very long and we want to give the players some time to rest,” said Da Gama on SAFA's website.

"We need to play teams such as this to see where we are on the international set up, Tunisia will also participate in the 8 Nations Tournament and these two matches will assist both nations.

"We are however going for the kill; we are taking no prisoners and want to have a look at the likes of Lebo Mothiba and Lebo Phiri who play in European leagues”.

The South Africans will make their way back home on 9 September 2015 and will be looking to take advantage of other FIFA calendar dates to enhance their preparations.
