Van Heerden denies Chiefs, Pirates link

Cape Town - AmaZulu left-back Marc van Heerden has rubbished reports linking him with a move away from the National First Division club.

Van Heerden is understood to be on the shopping lists of Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.

Despite Amazulu's relegation to the NFD at the end of last season, the 27-year-old remains committed to the Usuthu.

"I think what you are reading in the papers and stuff is just rumours. I am still with AmaZulu and I haven't been approached by anyone," Van Heerden told Goal website.

"I am still with AmaZulu so that's where it stands. I haven't been approached by anyone from Chiefs and Pirates.

"As far as I know, I am still with AmaZulu at the moment. I have a contract with AmaZulu. That's where my mind and heart is."
