Cape Town - The 30th of May marks the start of the 96th annual Isle of Man TT Race; the two week-long event sees competitors from far and wide flock to the island to take part in one of the world’s most prestigious motor races.
The Isle of Man, casually referred to as Mann, is a self-governing island located in the Irish Sea between the islands of Great Britain and Ireland, and a popular tourist destination around the globe.
Although the annual Isle of Man TT is a great drawcard, holidaymakers are also drawn to the rigid shores and lush green inland.
Motor-racing super-fans are already kicking back in this popular tourist destination awaiting the big race.
While the Isle of Man is undoubtedly home to one of the greatest race tracks, there are many others that have motor-racing revving their engines to travel to them.
UK blog Visit Isle Of Man compiled a list of 30 greatest race tracks on the planet; from Circuit de la Sarthe - home to the world-famous 24 Hours of Le Mans race - to Brands Hatch and the Laguna Seca Raceway.
