Cape Town - Eric Cheng, an award-winning underwater and aerial photographer, made one of the most incredible video compilations of South Africa's Mother City on a recent visit here, showcasing the beauty - but also the lethality - of our Atlantic ocean.
Cheng is a Taiwanese American photographer who visited South Africa in August this year and released his incredible footage on social media on the 11th of October.
The footage shows the Atlantic shore of Cape Town from meters above, zooming in on various landmarks such as Lion's Head, seal island and yup, also the notorious great white sharks that patrol our seas in all their scary glory.
Cheng posted on Facebook saying, "I finally did a cut of the aerial quadcopter footage from the August trip to Cape Town, South Africa. What an amazing place—so beautiful!".
We must admit, the footage from 01:20 has us a little stumped. It's a rather scary scene of what appears to be literally dozens of sharks. Or are they seals? Take a look and tell us what you think in the comments section below.

Regardless, shark cage diving is featured towards the end and the footage seems to be encouraging prospective tourists to travel to SA.
@KatGledhill @echeng @BiminiSharkGirl Those images are stunning! Loved the sharks in the surf. Now I want to visit!
