Crazy! Hungry croc attacks lion crossing his river

Cape Town - What happens when a crocodile develops a king-sized appetite? He tries snacking on a lion, of course!

Believe it or not, this is exactly what happened in the Kruger National Park's Sabie River recently... and someone was actually there to film the insanely rare footage!

WATCH: Crocodile attacks young lion crossing the Sabie river

According to Kruger Sightings the lion was a rather young one, and probably relatively inexperienced in the wiles of his fellow apex bush predator.

The footage was captured on the H10 bridge near Lower Sabie in the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
