Cape Town - While doing a safari in the Masai Mara recently, a group of tourists witnessed and managed to capture on camera an amazing encounter between a young cheetah and a baby impala.
The incredible footage, shared by Paul Steyn on National Geographic, shows the juvenile predator and his young prey positioned across from each other just a few centimetres apart. For all intents and purposes, it seems as though they're just meeting each other for the first time, exchanging some chit chat.

But then those natural instincts kick in and the cheetah clumsily chases after the little buck.
