Probably sandy beaches, salt water and... uhm... the ocean.
Most likely NOT a land-locked city in the south-east of Germany.
However, surfers have been flocking to the Bavarian capital of Munich over the past few days to catch a legendary fresh water wave in the Eisbach river.
Located close to a bridge close to the Haus ter Kunst art museum, the standing wave is only about 12 metres wide and 1 metre high, but constantly peeling. The water is extremely shallow and there is quite a strong current, making it a rather tricky spot - and only recommended for experienced riders.
It was first surfed in 1972, and has become a bit of a bucket list destinations for surfers from across the globe.
