Graphic! Orcas take out tiger shark



Cape Town - The sight of a tiger shark is enough to send any ocean creature squirming to safety - but not when you're a killer whale backed up by two of your equally hefty pod mates.

Shared by Barcraft media on youtube, and filmed by underwater by photographer Caroline Power and British marine biologist Nicholas Bachwas, the scene played out off the coast of Costa Rica along Chatham Bay.

If you ever doubted the tenacious nature of these animals, this footage clearly demonstrates how the pod works together in the hunt.
