Photo of the Day: Hanging out in the Tsitsikamma

Cape Town - Fancy dangling over a stormy river from just 7 meters above? Then this is the place to go.

The Tsitsikamma suspension bridge is situated at the mouth of the Storms River in the Tsitsikamma National Park in the Eastern Cape. One can see the red-brown water flow furiously into the Indian Ocean from the 77 meter long 'hangbrug'.

The bridge was originally built in 1969, but the Park has since reinforced it to ensure the safety and security of the hikers and travellers.
