Cape Point included in TripAdvisor Hall of Fame

Cape Town - The Two Oceans Restaurant at Cape Point, which features one of the most spectacular views in the world, has been inducted into the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame after winning a Certificate of Excellence for the fifth year in a row.

Travellers across the globe use TripAdvisor, the world's largest travel site to plan and book their perfect trips. A Certificate of Excellence celebrates businesses that receive consistently great reviews for making these dreams a reality - restaurants accounted for 52% of winners in 2015, accommodation about 30% and attractions about 20%. The Two Oceans Restaurant is in esteemed company as just 9% of these winners were awarded Hall of Fame status.

Marc Charron, President of TripAdvisor for Business, said: “By putting a spotlight on businesses that are focused on delivering great service to customers, TripAdvisor not only helps drive an improvement to hospitality standards around the world, but also gives businesses both large and small the ability to shine and stand out from the competition.”

Judiet Barnes, marketing manager for the Cape Point Partnership, said they were extremely proud of the Two Oceans Restaurant on the accolade from TripAdvisor. “It’s a real vote of confidence from all those who have visited Cape Point in the past 5 years,” Barnes said “We invite visitors to come and enjoy our new Hall of Famer, and take advantage of our upcoming Winter Special!”
