Crazy! Waves in the ocean are even freezing over now!

Cape Town - First it was the Niagara Falls then the Hudson and East River in New York... and now, actual waves in the ocean are freezing over too.

Sounds pretty crazy, we know, but this is exactly what happened in Nantucket, Massachusetts in the US earlier this week and photographer, Jonathan Nimerfroh actually managed to snap a few pics as proof. 

Daily Mail reports that Nimerfroh had noticed the horizon looking strange, so decided to haul out his camera. As soon as he got closer he saw that the waves had actually turned into slush!

He captured the photographs on Wednesday and said the temperature was around -7 degrees celsius.
