Airlink announces schedule changes on three routes


Cape Town - Airlink will increase flights on its Johannesburg-Nelspruit and Johannesburg-Pietermaritzburg routes, and make schedule changes to its Durban-Maputo route as of 16 February. 

The airline announced on its website that it will introduce morning flights on its Johannesburg-Nelspruit route. Flights will depart Nelspruit at 06:55 arriving in Johannesburg at 07:50, Monday to Friday.  

On Saturdays the first flight will depart Nelspruit at 08:30 arriving in Johannesburg at 09:25. Evening flights depart Johannesburg for Nelspruit at 18h05 arriving in Nelspruit at 18h55, daily. 


"With these flights Airlink will provide Mpumalanga based business travellers the opportunity to extend their business day in Johannesburg.  Airlink also offers direct flights from Nelspruit to Durban, Cape Town, Livingstone (Zambia) and Vilanculos (Mozambique)."

Airlink will also be adding additional afternoon flights on the Johannesburg-Pietermaritzburg route. Afternoon flights will operate Monday to Friday departing Johannesburg at 15:30, 17:00 and 18:15.  The return flights from Pietermartizburg to Johannesburg will depart at 14:00, 17:00 and 18:25. This will be in addition to the three return flights on Saturdays and Sundays.

Schedule changes planned for the Airlink flight route between Durban and Maputo include Same day return flights on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while mid-morning flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. 

Fights on Tuesdays and Thursdays will depart Durban at 06:45 and 16:00. Flights from Maputo will depart at 08:30 and 17:35. Midmorning flights on Monday, Wednesday and Friday depart Durban at 10:10 and from Maputo at 11:45.
