Snapped by photographer Aram Pan recently as part of his DPRK 360 project to capture the essence of life in North Korea, the photographs reveal Soviet-era aircraft with technologically challenged cockpits, old-school manual scales for weighing luggage, shoddy seat belts and the most uncomfortable looking seats ever!
The food doesn't look too bad though!
While it may look like a particularly dodgy charter company best avoided, Air Koryo is in fact North Korea's state-owned national flag-carrier airline, which means many people don't actually have much choice but to fly with it.
Not that a ticket would get you very far, as the airline was banned from entering EU airspace in 2006, due to safety and maintenance concerns. In the meantime, the ban has been lifted on a small part of its fleet, which consists of TU-204 aircraft.
