Cape Town - A mischievous young white female rhino named Rihanna and two of her pals nearly succeeded in escaping from Ramat Gan Safari Park in the Tel Aviv district of western Israel after a security guard nodded off to sleep and failed to notice the 3 enormous animals cheekily sneak by.

Another employee chased after the escapees, but was unable to return them to the enclosure. It was only when the Safari CEO of the park, Yehuda Bar, got a call from the police saying the animals were in the parking lot, that they were able to drive the rhino back into the zoo.
The sleepy guard was fired from the zoo after his humiliating slip-up was caught on camera, reports New York Daily News.
As sad as it may seem, the animals are probably safer INSIDE the zoo, as rhino are being poached at ever-increasing numbers all over the world, and especially, in South Africa. In 2014, 1020 rhinos were killed in SA, an increase of 16 animals since 2013's amount of 1004.
