Cape Town – Had you by any chance experienced a sudden whim to google the tiny Yorkshire village of Skellow over the weekend, you would have gotten quite a surprise indeed.
Daily Mail reports that while the little town had no previous claim to fame, it suddenly shot into the spotlight when a rather uncouth pic of a semi-naked man popped up next to the town’s map.
The unfortunate image was first spotted by animator David Firth, the creator of the super creepy online Salad Fingers series, who proceeded to take a screenshot, then shared it on Twitter.
Don't think the people of Skellow, South Yorkshire would be happy with how Google pictures them. pic.twitter.com/eVTXFtRA6x

Although the pic has since been removed, it was shared more than 1 500 times on Twitter... and counting.
Well, it must seriously suck to be Skellow right now, what with the only thing making it truly notable being a man with a towel draped over his privates.
