Are these the 10 most annoying passengers on flights EVER!?

 
Cape Town - Have you ever found yourself getting on your flight for a long-awaited holiday, settling yourself into your seat and looking forward to immersing yourself in a recently released film on the in-flight entertainment only to find yourself irritated by your fellow passengers?

Apparently you are not alone...

According to a new survey by flight booking company, Just The Flight, people who smell top the list of most annoying people on a flight, especially if you are sitting next to them! 59% of those asked, in the survey of 5,000 people, rated this as one of the top annoyances along with people who kick your seat (54%) and parents who don’t acknowledge their children’s unruly behaviour (53%).

The full list of the most annoying passengers is below:

1. People who smell (59%)

2. Seat kickers (54%)

3. Parents unwilling to acknowledge their children’s behaviour (53%)

4. Crying children (41%)

5. People who are rude and obnoxious to flight attendants (37%)

Commenting on the results of the study, Simon Goddard, CEO of Just the Flight said “We have all had to deal with these types of situations on a flight at some point. Although it doesn’t make your journey as enjoyable, we seem to grin and bear them as long as they don’t delay us getting to our destination.

"However maybe it’s time to stand up to these people interfering in our peace and tranquillity or otherwise pack a few essential items such as padding for the back of your seat and a peg for your nose!”
