Cape Town - The South African Ocean Festival will take place from the 21st October to the 8th November, at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town. A shared concept from V&A Waterfront, SAMSA and Worldsport, the South African Ocean Festival celebrates the beauty and power of the ocean, through various ocean sports, art, music and food.
The seaside festival is hosted annually in the Western Cape, celebrating a unique character that the city of Cape Town has to offer.
The festival promises great music, amazing food, fun activities for kids and a programme centred on ocean related activities.
Guests are encouraged to participate in the fun activities. Try your hand at the open water relays, canoe-polo mini challenges or the Xtreme Water Polo tournament.
According to South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA), the goal behind the festival is to boost South Africa's marine assets and promote fun activities and experiences at the sea.
