According to Jezebel, the Anne Frank Fonds foundation has recently caused a stir by naming Otto Frank, Anne’s father, co-author of her book, The Diary of Anne Frank. Now this may seem like a rather innocuous move at first, but publishers around the world are anything but happy about this.

Because it seems to be all about copyright issues. 

According to Legal-dictionary.com, copyright is defined as “a legal device that gives the creator of a literary, artistic, musical, or other creative work the sole right to publish and sell that work.” It sounds simple enough when it’s the owner that retains copyright of his work. But, selling your product to a recording label, publisher or any particular franchise makes things just a little trickier.
