It may sound crazy, but this could be a legitimate beauty thing as the company has posted their product on Kickstarter, looking for people to invest.
Founded by Remi Brixton in December 2010, Freck Yourself uses triangular stencils and a roll-on formula method to apply the freckles.
The kit comes with 72 triangular self-adhesive stencils and a rollerball formula. This look does not smudge and lasts for up to two days, as it will eventually fade unless it is not applied daily.
According to the product’s Kickstarter page, the prototype was manufactured by Cosmetix West in Los Angeles and has been in partnership with the company since February 2015.
Freck Yourself needs to raise $215 000 (R3 million) by the 10th of December 2015 for the product to be fully funded.
But that’s not all, as the company also mentioned, if the roll-on stencils method gains enough exposure and funding, Freck Yourself will launch an aerosol Freck Spray. This will allow users to spray freckles anywhere: from their arms, shoulders to their legs.
