Afraid to wear white jeans? Fear no more

accreditation
Many women are nervous to wear white pants because they are afraid it's going to make them look bigger than they are. This isn't necessarily true. Looking good in white pants is all about choosing the right fit, type of fabric and style.

Here are my top tips to finding your perfect pair:

1. The thicker the fabric, the more forgiving they are. Thicker fabric gives a lot more hold and is more forgiving, especially when it comes to fitted styles. It also means that they won’t be see-through.  If you choose a thick fabric that has a little stretch, it will make them super comfortable to wear, even if it’s a fitted style.

2. Get the fit right. The perfect shape for you will depend on your body shape and how comfortable you are with it.  If you like the shape of your legs then show them off in a slim-leg style.  If not, then try a regular or relaxed fit.  Be careful of opting for super baggy styles or elasticated waists.  When women want to hide, they attempt to cover up with baggy styles.  Baggy, shapeless styles will just make you look bigger than you are.

3. Back pockets conceal panty lines.  I’m not usually a huge fan of back pockets as they can make your butt look bigger than it is.  But when it comes to white pants, they help to conceal panty lines.  Make sure that the pockets don't have too much detail so they don’t add volume (unless that’s the look you are going for).  And don't forget to wear nude underwear.
