Brad Pitt and Angelina's beach vacay home is in danger!

Los Angeles - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's multi-million dollar beach ranch is at risk as an uncontrollable oil spillage causes a state of emergency in California.

The Hollywood couple - who own the $5m property boasting 11-acres of land - find their home at risk from the 21000 gallon oil spill, which is just 1.5 miles along the Californian coastline, at El Capitan State Beach.

The Californian Governor, Jerry Brown called a state of emergency on Wednesday and announced they would "quickly mobilise all available resources".

He told DailyMail: "We will do everything necessary to protect California's coastline."

Brad, 51 - who has children Maddox, Zahara, Pax, Knox, Vivienne and Shiloh with Angelina - is said to use the beach house, which he purchased for $4m in 2000, mainly for vacations.

America's The National Weather Service has reported westerly winds will force the oil to spread rapidly, increasing the chances of causing damage to their beach facing house.

A representative for Santa Barbara authorities said: "I am deeply saddened by the images coming from the scene at Refugio. This incident is yet another stark reminder of the serious risks to our environment and economy that come from drilling for oil."

However, this is not the only time the film stars have been in the headlines for environmental issues.

The World War Z actor was previously blasted by furious locals when he took his children onto the beach on quad bikes.

One angry resident said: "I am not sure if it is illegal to drive on the beach in Santa Barbara County but it is certainly reprehensible."
