The Heartbeat Song hitmaker, who has eight-month-old daughter River Rose with husband Brandon Blackstock, claims alcohol and prescription drugs are just as dangerous as the drug.

She said: "I cannot understand the fact that controlled narcotic substances and alcohol are legal and weed isn't. How many people do you know who have died from weed? My point exactly."
