Los Angeles - Kourtney Kardashian is "overprotective" of her children.

The Kardashians' former housekeeper shared: "Kourtney was really overprotective of her kids she always was asking the babysitters what they were up to and micromanaging them.

"I could tell it was hard for her to let them do their jobs."

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old television personality is reportedly a "neat freak" and always wants the house to be as clean as possible.

The source continued: "Kourtney was by far the most rude and unappreciative person in the family. She was also extremely strict and a total neat freak."

Despite the family's fame and fortune, the former member of staff recalled an incident where Kourtney went as far as to compare prices of chicken between two stores.

They told Star magazine: "She was crazy. She was always looking for ways to save money which was really annoying because of how rich they are.

"One time she called two different grocery stores to compare the price of a chicken breast. Who does that?"
