Nicole Kidman talks to Ellen about her father's death and how Keith Urban stood by her

Cape Town – Nicole Kidman opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about how the death of her father impacted her on Thursday.

The Before I Go To Sleep actress praised her husband Keith Urban for carrying her through the difficult time.

Speaking on The Ellen Show, she said: “When you have your partner who just literally carries you through a tough time… He has been amazing to me”

“I recently lost my father and to have my husband just step up in the way, it makes me cry! He is just so amazing.”

Nicole's father, Dr. Anthony Kidman passed away on 12 September whilst visiting Nicole's sister in Singapore.

To cheer Nicole up, her and Ellen played a game guessing whether the lyrics of songs were 'country song or country wrong'.
