Amy Adams has her eye set on Oscar gold with new Tim Burton movie

Cape Town – Amy Adams’ latest role could finally land her the coveted gold Oscar statuette.

Taking on the character of Margaret Keane in Tum Burton’s Big Eyes, Amy once again proves that she has the ability to pull in the audience with her vulnerable portrayal of characters so real you’ll feel like you’ve met them before.

According to IMDB.com the drama centres on the awakening of the painter Margaret Keane, her phenomenal success in the 1950s, and the subsequent legal difficulties she had with her husband, who claimed credit for her works in the 1960s.

The film is set for release in December.
