What's it about:

It's the ultimate buddy cop movie except for one thing: they're not cops. When two struggling pals dress as police officers for a costume party, they become neighbourhood sensations. But, when these newly-minted “heroes” get tangled in a real life web of mobsters and dirty detectives, they must put their fake badges on the line.

What we thought:

This movie takes us into the lives of two friends who are pretty much teenagers in adult bodies, whose world is turned upside down. All little boys want to become a policeman or fireman when they grow up and this movie does just that.

With a highlight of humour Justin (Damon Wayans) and Ryan (Jake Johnson) realise the responsibilities of a real cop very quickly. It’s got funny jokes, a little love story, a beautiful friendship and some action shooting scenes wrapped up in one so no matter who you are there is something for you to enjoy.

The downfall unfortunately is that it is one of the predictable ones where you sort of know what is going to happen so you lose the anticipation but it’s still fun to watch.

The perfect time to watch Lets Be Cops would after a long day, when your keen to relax and have a laugh. You won’t be disappointed!
