Nick Jonas ditches purity ring as he releases new video starring his sexy girlfriend

Los Angeles - Nick Jonas released a new video on Tuesday which stars his girlfriend, former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo.

The former Jonas Brothers' singer has made an "out there" video for his new track Jealous and was delighted to ask Olivia Culpo to take a starring role in the clip.

He told MTV News: "She's a lot of fun, she's a cellist and she played cello in the clouds in this video, which is pretty incredible scenery. In lingerie, so, why not?

"It is a little out there."

Nick Jonas also revealed to HuffPostLive he no longer wears his purity ring.

The 22-year-old singer, who started wearing the band when he was 11 to symbolise his desire to abstain from sex until marriage, admits he has grown-up a lot in recent years, but insists he still has love for the church.

Speaking about the ring he said: "This is a real growth in me and not something I'm doing anymore. But I've got my set of values, things that are important to me now at this point in my life and that's all that matters."

He added: "I've had an incredibly intense journey with faith and religion and my own growth. My belief in God is still very strong and important to me as a person and I think that's all that should matter. I grew up in a church environment and still have love for the church.

"What's important now is my relationship with God, and that I not judge and that I not be judged."

Nick's older brother Joe Jonas, 25, who also previously wore a purity ring, revealed last year that he lost his virginity when he was 20.

He said: "There's a programme people do in some churches called True Love Waits, where you wait for marriage to have sex. [My older brother] Kevin and I decided to join - Nick tried it later."

But he added: "I lost my virginity when I was 20. I did other stuff before then, but I was sexually active at 20. I'm glad I waited for the right person, because you look back and you go, 'That girl was batshit crazy. I'm glad I didn't go there.'"
