2012-06-29 08:51
Johannesburg – The wife of a well-known DJ has been admitted to hospital with two bullet wounds after she was shot by hijackers.

Zina Rotherham, the wife of Jacaranda FM DJ Paul Rotherham, managed to drive away after hijackers fired at her near the Gautrein's Marlboro station, reported Beeld.

She had just dropped off a friend and was looking for a turnoff when the hijacker fired two shots through her windscreen and hit her left hand and chest.

She was to undergo a delicate operation to remove the bullet in her left hand.

The DJ did not want to comment on his wife's ordeal but confirmed on Facebook that his wife was in a stable condition in hospital.
