Metro FM DJ and Idols SA judge Unathi Msengana is scheduled to be back on air tomorrow.
Msengana was suspended in August by the SABC after she allegedly called 19-year-old University of the Witwatersrand student Palomino Jama a “psycho b**ch” in a Twitter rant.
Msengana launched a vulgar Twitter tirade against Jama.
SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago yesterday told City Press that Msengana will be reporting for duty tomorrow.
But he couldn’t say on what condition the broadcaster decided to bring her back.
All he would say was: “We are done with engaging with her and we were satisfied with the issue that has been dealt with.”
Jama told City Press that she is glad Msengana is going back at work.
She said: “I think she considered that she took my tweets out of context. She misinterpreted my tweets, she didn’t understand them.
“I can’t dwell on the past – I have moved on.”
