Johannesburg – After a grueling competition the winner of Idols season 10 has been announced.
The grand finale took place at Carnival City where Vincent Bones was crowned as the winner.
The finalists of the competition, Vincent Bones and Bongi Bongi Silinda received a record number of votes and were separated by only a few votes.
Vincent Bones joins previous winners Heinz Winckler, Anke Pietrangeli, Karin Kortjie, Jody Williams, Jason Hartman, Sasha-Lee Davids, Dave van Vuuren, Khaya Mthethwa and Musa Sukwene.
Along with being crowned the winner, Vincent also walked away with a prize package that was worth more that R1m, as well as a recording contract with Universal Music Africa.
