Kelly Osbourne gets a new TV gig

Los Angeles - Kelly Osbourne has joined Project Runway Junior as a judge.

The former Fashion Police star took to Instagram to announce her new role, sharing a picture of herself surrounded by her new co-stars.

She wrote: "I'm so excited to finally announce that I've joined the incredible #ProjectRunwayJunior family! We just had the best first day ever!"

Project Runway Junior features young designers aged between 14 and 17.

It is hosted by Tim Gunn and model Hannah Davis and Kelly's fellow judges include Project Runway season four winner Christian Siriano and Cosmopolitan's Executive Editor Aya Kanai.

Kelly previously appeared as a guest judge on 2011 special, Project Accessory, and hosted Project Runway's UK version, Project Catwalk, from 2007 to 2008.

She famously quit E!'s Fashion Police earlier this year amid controversy surrounding co-star Giuliana Rancic's comments about her pal Zendaya Coleman.

Speaking after her departure, she said: "It was the five best working years of my life. I am so grateful for the experience. I can't even.

"Working with Joan Rivers for five years was incredible. I learned so much. I'm excited for my future now. I want to try new things."
