Los Angeles - Mel B has rubbished claims she was axed from The X Factor because of her husband Stephen Belafonte.

The 39-year-old star's manager has spoken out after her brother-in-law Jeremiah Stansbury claimed that she'd been sacked from her role as a judge on the ITV show because of her tumultuous relationship with his brother.
