We chat to SA’s Got Talent finalist Joe Fredericks

Cape Town – SA’s Got Talent finalist Joe Fredericks has been a firm favourite with the judges and the public since his first audition when he belted out his rendition of I’d Give Anything by Gerald Levert.

It came as no surprise that Joe was one of the first contestants to go through to the finale.

The bookkeeper by day who hails from the Eastern Cape has been singing for 28 years.

We chatted to Joe about his SA’s Got Talent journey so far.

Channel24:
How are you finding the whole SA’s Got Talent experience?

Joe:
The experience so far is awesome. I don’t think that I will ever forget the priceless moments on the show. At least I will have something to tell my grandchildren one day.

Channel24:
Did you think that you would make it this far?

Joe:
I entered the completion with the mindset that anything can happen. I kind of knew that I will at least make it to semi-finals, but going through to the finals is such a blessing, I’m so grateful.

Channel24:
Is this the first talent competition you have entered?

Joe:
No this is not the first competition I have entered, but it is my biggest one.

Channel24:
Do you have any other talents?

Joe:
Acting is also one of my talents. So watch the space!

Channel24:
What song or artist made you want to be a singer?

Joe:
Whitney Houston; back in the 90’s.
