AKA sets the record straight on cheating allegations

Johannesburg- Hip-hop sensation AKA has broken his silence for the first time, since it was announced that he and DJ Zinhle had decided to split. (Read that story here)

The rapper took to twitter where he addressed swirling rumours, that the reason behind the couple's breakup was because he cheated on Zinhle with Mzansi's 'IT' girl Bonang Matheba. 

I don't usually explain myself when it comes to my private life but the media is fabricating a lot of lies to capitalize on my break up.

Break ups are unfortunate, this particular decision was mutual and we would appreciate it if the media stops fabricating unnecessary drama.

AKA's comments came hot-on-the heels of a Sunday Sun report, which claimed that Zinhle allegedly dumped AKA, after she found a string of text messages between him and Bonang.

It was also claimed that AKA has since moved into Bonang's posh Hype Park home. 

Bonang has refused to comment on the matter.
