Johannesburg - The opening night of Trevor Noah's South African tour has been cancelled after the star was caught in a "monster" weather storm.
Trevor took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to announce that he will not be able to perform at Monte Casino, Johannesburg, on Wednesday evening as expected.
Due to a monster storm our pilot chose not to fly because we might die (chicken!) So unfortunately I have to move today's show to Tuesday.

Fans, who were supposed to attend tonight's sold out show, but cannot make next Tuesday, will be able to apply for a full refund.
The news was greeted with disappointment by many of his fans, but more than a few decided to see the lighter side of the situation.
@Trevornoah Why not just move the storm to Tuesday and do the show today?

I tried but mother nature is very hard to bribe. Good suggestion though. https://t.co/hjx1tofUGS
