The former CEO of the SA Institute of Chartered Accountants, Freeman Nomvalo, has been handed the tough task of cleaning up the rot at the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (Nsfas).

Nomvalo’s appointment as Nsfas administrator, announced on Friday, has been welcomed by an activist and student body as inspiring confidence.
