The ANC Women’s League (ANCWL) conference that was scheduled for this weekend is off again. This is after its national task team discovered that, after all the hard work of trying to take the league to conference, its work was not quite done as many branches were not ready.

City Press understands that the party was forced to postpone the conference after the ANCWL failed to meet the threshold of branches that held biennial branch general meetings (BBGMs) and branch general meetings (BGMs).
