Yesterday, the SA Rugby Union (Saru) and Nienaber confirmed that the Boks’ head coach will leave after the World Cup tournament later this year.

Saru issued the statement after City Press’ sister publication Rapport enquired about Nienaber’s future. The 50-year-old will join Irish club Leinster. They have been searching for a senior coach after former England manager Stuart Lancaster accepted an offer from French club Racing 92.
