Efforts to get Prudence Sekgodiso to run in the 800m final were invain

Team SA did not succeed in its appeal to get middle distance Prudence Sekgodiso advanced to the final of the women’s 800m final at the World Athletics Championships.

This after the 21-year-old appeared to have been impeded, and subsequently fell, during the semifinals of the two-lap event on Friday night.
