Barely able to crawl at less than three months in the political arena since its launch on 16 December in Soweto, the uMkhonto we Sizwe Party (MKP) is giving their old parent, the African National Congress, some serious competition in the fashion stakes.

Looking at the merchandise and various clothing items members of the MKP are seen wearing, the launch of this spin-off party from the ANC was well organised as members took to the streets in various meetings already clad in fashionable regalia.
