Fresh from showing at the Paris Fashion Week on 3 March, Maxhosa label founder Laduma Ngxokolo is in a buoyant mood. This is because of the impending opening of his Soho store in New York in the US, next month.

Originally scheduled to open last month, Ngxokolo tells City Press the date was pushed forward to capitalise on improved weather when Maxhosa finally opens the doors of his first retail outlet outside South Africa.
