Johannesburg - More needs to be done, and faster, to implement the National Development Plan, President Jacob Zuma said on Friday.
"We noted the continued work of the Municipal Demarcation Board as mandated by the Constitution and are also pleased with the speed of implementation of the NDP by provinces and municipalities, but feel that more still needs to be done and at a greater speed," he said in a statement.
It was issued after he convened a meeting of the president’s co-ordinating council, to hold talks with mayors and premiers.
