Harare - The department of trade and industry will lead a business delegation of over 40 companies from various sectors to Zimbabwe in October for the second Zim/SA Investment and Trade Mission from October 15-19.
The delegation is targeting Harare, Kwekwe and Bulawayo.
In a letter seen by Fin24, Zimbabwe's Secretary for Economic Planning and Investment Desire Sibanda said the purpose of the visit is to establish investment and trade partnerships with Zimbabwean companies and to explore Zimbabwe’s investment and trade opportunities.
South Africa's Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Elizabeth Thabethe is expected to lead the SA delegation.
South Africa is Zimbabwe’s largest trading partner and a bilateral investment promotion and protection agreement already exists between the two countries.
