New York - Wall Street stocks on Tuesday retreated a day after the Nasdaq topped 5 000 for the first time in 15 years, as electronics retailer Best Buy announced big shareholder payouts.
Five minutes into trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was at 18 251.99, down 36.64 points (0.20%).
The broad-based S&P 500 shed 5.76 (0.27%) to 2 111.63, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index fell 16.49 (0.33%) to 4 991.61.
