The provisional liquidators of Comair are inviting offers to purchase the share capital of the company, which owns low-cost airline kulula.com.
Comair also operated domestic British Airways flights in terms of a franchise agreement. The agreement lapsed when Comair went into provisional liquidation in June last year. British Airways has since announced a codeshare partnership with privately owned South African airline, Airlink.
The invitation for the submission of offers to purchase, seen by News24, lists Comair's assets as the kulula.com brands and trademarks, an Air Operators Certificate, and domestic air service licenses.
