The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) will create a subsidiary company to manage its commercial television and radio stations, according to the latest version of the bill governing the embattled state broadcaster.
Approved for submission to Parliament by Cabinet last week, the bill will see the commercial company operating under a new board, as well as a new funding model.
