When announcing the outcomes of the governing party's lekgotla this past weekend, Ramaphosa said on Twitter on Sunday that the ANC's national executive committee had decided to convene "an economic summit that critically looks at what Covid has merely accentuated: poverty, inequality and unemployment in South Africa".
